Hosemann Marine Services is a full time independent marine surveying, vessel delivery service, and consultancy company located in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee.
We service vessels throughout the United States. Our company's goals are simple; provide our clients professional services at reasonable rates. When you hire Hosemann Marine Services, rest assured that your interests and safety onboard are our utmost concern. Because we understand the marine environment can be very unforgiving, we focus on adherence to the regulations established by the United States Coast Guard as well as the voluntary standards set by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA). Moreover, our surveys provide a detailed, clearly understood report of the vessel. Be confident that when you retain HMS we work for you and only you.
Captain Pete Hosemann has over 30 years as a licensed mariner. His operational experience includes the Intra-Coastal Waterway from Galveston Bay, TX to Cape Cod Bay and most of the Mississippi River System. He has an extensive background in the construction and repair of commercial vessels, vessel operations, systems installation, and instruction.
Captain Pete Hosemann is an Accredited Marine Surveyor for yacht and small commercial vessels and a NDT Level II Ultrasonic trained technician. Hosemann Marine Services is a strong proponent of continuing education and requires associates to annually attend various courses and seminars related to marine surveying.

Marine Surveyors are not licensed by state or federal authority. The term Accredited is awarded only through the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS). Ensure that any marine surveyoryou retain is a member of a recognized professional organization.
